Irongate is accused of lying to the court about the project’s progress between April 2018 and September 2022. Irongate was accused of lying by telling Plaintiff that the project had reached a critical milestone on the 6th of September 2022, asking for an additional $1,575,000.

Jason Grosfeld Costa Palmas

With his property firm Irongate, Jason Grosfeld constructed and sold houses in Costa Palmas, making hundreds of millions. Irongate worked in conjunction with Donald Trump to develop the “Trump Ocean Resort”, an exclusive residential property located in Baha, the state of California. Mexico. Irongate may be using the same tactics for businesses that destroyed the project. Based on recent legal actions by various Costa Palmas real estate owners.

Prior Legal Action Taken Against Iron Gate And Its CEO, Jason Grosfeld:

Over a hundred plaintiffs alleged in a 2008 lawsuit brought against Irongate and other defendants that Irongate was deceiving them regarding Donald Trump’s participation at the Trump Ocean Resort and had committed other crimes by stealing and misusing the sum of more than 30 million worth of deposit money from buyers. As per a Univision News and Columbia Journalism Investigations investigation, Jason Grosfeld and Irongate misled customers for nearly two years by wildly inflating the number of units sold and making the false assertion that the project’s finance was long-term.

Despite the claims of Irongate that construction was going well, what remained after two years of construction was a large hole and a couple of concrete slabs. The investigation by Univision also revealed that one of the Irongate’s lenders had found “a huge misappropriation of funds used to cover overruns.” The past has all over to Costa Palmas.

At the very least, one other Costa Palmas property owner has also filed a lawsuit against Irongate to be held accountable for fraud, theft, and violations of contractual rights. On the 27th of January 2023, TRG CP, LLC brought legal action against Irongate, David Waller, and Mitch Laufer in a California federal court. The lawsuit claimed that the defendants had unlawfully required the Plaintiff to submit an estoppel certificate for building a house in Costa Palmas and had engaged in extortion or attempted to extort to make the Plaintiff make payments of millions, which the Plaintiff was never willing to pay.

Additional Information Regarding The Legal Issues of Jason Grosfeld, The CEO of Iron Gate

To secure millions of dollars in payments, the complaint alleges that Irongate repeatedly made false statements about the cost and timeframe to complete the construction of the property. The complaint also claims that the property is only a decaying concrete shell after receiving about 5 million dollars in settlement from the complainant.

The allegations are similar to those that GS 1975 LLC made. Irongate is accused of holding the Plaintiff’s house hostage and has blocked any further work on the property until the Plaintiff pays Irongate thousands of dollars worth in additional charges, as per the suit. We tried to reach TRG CP LLC but have not received a response.

Our sources suggest that there could be different Costa Palmas house buyers with similar claims or experiences. Irongate and its agents could be subject to additional legal action. We’ve also been informed by the Mexican as well as American government officials have been investigating this matter.
