Jason Grosfeld, the chief executive officer at Iron Gate, is being filed a lawsuit. Grosfeld and other defendants assert that Irongate has been involved in fraud and unjustly obtained money from its clients in a lawsuit against the company, which was filed in the California Superior Court.

As per a Univision News and Columbia Journalism Investigations investigation, Jason Grosfeld and Irongate misled customers for nearly two years by wildly inflating the number of units sold and making the false assertion that the project’s finance was long-term.
Despite the claims of Irongate that construction was going well, what remained after two years of construction was a large hole and a couple of concrete slabs. To secure millions of dollars in payments, the complaint alleges that Irongate repeatedly made false statements about the cost and timeframe to complete the construction of the property. The complaint also claims that the property is only a decaying concrete shell after receiving about 5 million dollars in settlement from the complainant.
The allegations are similar to those that GS 1975 LLC made. Irongate is accused of holding the Plaintiff’s house hostage and has blocked any further work on the property until the Plaintiff pays Irongate thousands of dollars worth in additional charges, as per the suit. We tried to reach TRG CP LLC but have not received a response.
Our sources suggest that there could be different Costa Palmas house buyers with similar claims or experiences. Irongate and its agents could be subject to additional legal action. We’ve also been informed by the Mexican as well as American government officials have been investigating this matter.
